We are thinking about doing the overnight barge trip from Suzhou to Hangzhou. Is it worth doing?

- Overnight boats are no longer available. Still, Hangzhou has invested huge amounts of money, time and urban planning into the Grand Canal through the city. You can still take a 40 minute boat ride from Wulin Square in downtown Hangzhou up as far as Gongchen Bridge.
