Traveling from Hongkong to Tianjin

Hi, This is my first time traveling to China and I was wondering if you could make some suggestions for me. I plan on flying into Hong Kong and would like to make my way up to Tianjin, what are my options? If I decide to fly where is the best place to find the best deals on airline tickets? Is there a train option?

- The domestic flights would be cheaper. So suggest you take by train or bus from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then take by flight from Guangzhou to Tianjin directly lasting about 3 hours. After the half discount, the price is about $135. The train from Guangzhou to Tianjin (about 2400km) last about 25-26 hours and the price is $69 for hard sleeper, $104 for soft sleeper.
