- The "Five Sacred Mountains" refer to Mount Taishan, Mount Huashan, the Mount Hengshan (in Shanxi), Mount Songshan and Mount Songshan (in Hunan). Mount Taishan in Shandong is the top of these five mountains where the emperors of ancient China held sacrificial rituals when they became enthroned. People always use Mount Tai to describe the stability of things. Mount Huashan in Shanxi is also named Taihua Mountain, with many tourist attractions like Lotus Peak, Birds Drop Peak, Zhaoyang Peak, Yunv Peak and Wuyun Peak. Mount. Hengshan in Hunan is shrouded in the mist, making it mysterious. Mount. Hengshan lies in northeast Shanxi, with Xuankong Temple as excellent scenery. Mount.
