Hello, I'm planning go be in Beijing from Sept 28 until Oct 1st 2009. My hotel that was very near to Ti an men Square just call me to cancel my reservation because they said they're will be close for the National Chinese Day. Can you recommend me a near area to stay. A good area? I like to know the historical places and also shopping (fashion and antique souvenirs) Good places to party and try local food! Also do you know if I can enjoy the China's National Day, the concert and fire show? Because people at the hotel said that the area will be shot down. So nobody can go in or out. Is that true? Thank you so much!
