Recently,I'm busy prepareing my paper.I want talk about the differences between Chinese and western table manners,and I looking up many literatures .But harvest rarely. Who can tell me some details about this ? Many thanks!

- i have found the biggest difference is the attitude to food. as a westerner i would never dream of spitting out the bones from my meal onto the table as it is not acceptable in england. The separate dishes is also different and the chopsticks of course. also the custom of pouring everyone else's drink before your own in china as this is not really done in the west you get your own when your glass is empty.

- Hi, maybe the main difference between Chinese and western table manners is chopsticks instead of knife and fork. However, it's only superficial. I think the real difference is that people have their own plate of food in the West, while the dishes are placed on the table and everyone shares them in China .
