Which language do they speak in Huanggang?

I am going to Huanggang to adopt a little girl. I want to know if they speak Cantonese or Mandarin there.

- If the Huanggang you are talking about is the Huanggang in Hubei Province (close to Wuhan City), then she might speak Huanggang dialect, and depending on her age, mandarin. Basically, every single city in China has its own dialect, which can be very different from mandarin chinese. Mandarin chinese is taught in every school so that all Chinese can communicate together ; mandarin chinese has been created in order to unify chinese language, and is based on the Beijing dialect. So if this little girl has been schooled, she might speak mandarin as well.
