I'm here in Australia and I wish to purchase train tickets, but I was told that China Rail now adopt "real name system" and I can only purchase train tickets when I arrive. Is there any way that I can get train tickets?

- You should contact Chinatravel.com, mostly tourists agents in china have better acces to train tickets all across China, use them, for your own safety.

- Hi there there are also tickets available at http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ but I am afraid that 150 CNY charge applies, which you can avoid using this site. Best!
