Will the beijing Olympic have a major impact on my trip?

We will have a 10 days trip China, unfortunately, our tour dates covers most of the summer olympic in Beijing. I know it will be very crowded in some parts of the country. Will the game and arrivals of millions of olympic spectators affect my travel plan? do we need to alter our tour destination, say go to other country? thanks

- I was told that the Chinese Government will not issue tourist Visa for Beijing during the game time except that you have the ticket to the game. Surely, it is going to be crowded.

- Even a entry ticket can not guarantee a visa.

- The biggest problem might be the visa problems due to the govt has shortened the duration in China.
