In China, glossy ganoderma is believed to be a kind of rare medicine herb that can help prolong life and is anticancer. Huashan Glossy Ganoderma falls into two groups, wild and planted. The wild Huashan Glossy Ganoderms are especially precious as they grow on the sheer cliffs in Mt. Huashan and are very difficult to get. With clear pileus and rings of veins, Huashan Glossy Ganoderm looks reddish brown and glitters.
