Transportation

Yulin City is on the centre area of Southeastern Guangxi Province. It boasts of convenient transportation as Lizhan Railway running through Xingye County, Yuzhou District, Luchuan County and Bobai County. Besides, its railway system connects with the national railway network. The highway system of Yulin also extends to all directions. Twelve critical mainline of highway which connecting Guangdong and Guangxi Provinces join up in Yulin District. Everyday, there’re more than four express coaches setting out on time to various parts of Guangxi and Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Lianjiang, Huazhou and Maoming in Guangdong Province. The roads to the main spots are clear and convenient which guarantees that the tourist groups could get to the spots smoothly.

（2） Donkey is one the vehicles here: Mountains are high and roads are bumpy in northern part of Shaanxi. Ravines and dangerous gorges can be seen anywhere. Often there are no ways for motor vehicles. In this circumstance, you can rent a donkey. It can walk for a couple of kilometers a day easily and it is very tame and docile. Xishan Airport is in the southwest of Yulin City and about 2 kilometers away from the city. There are airlines from Yulin to Xi’an City and Baotou City every week.  The airline from Yulin to Xi’an takes off at 10:10 and 15:10 twice a day. The price for the ticket is 600 Yuan (include insurance and construction fee for airport). The airline from Baotou to Yulin takes off on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday every week. The price of the ticket is 230 Yuan (include insurance and construction fee for airport).

 There are trains running from Shenmu County to Shanxi Province, Zhengzhou City, Datong City, Yinhuangdao City, Baotou City and Hohhot(capital of the Inner Mongal Autonomous region), etc. Yulin Railway Station will run railways nonstop to Yan’an City, Xi’an City, Baotou City and Yinchuan City in the near future.

Highway

Regular busses to every tourist destination in every county of Yulin City can be taken in Yulin Bus Station. Coaches nonstop to major cities like Xi’an, Beijing, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Baotou, Yinchuan, Xining, Lanzhou, Urumqu, Tianjin, Dongsheng, Datong are also available in the bus station. It is also very convenient to catch a bus or take a taxi within the city. If you catch the nonstop luxurious bus Volvo from Xi’an Tangdu Bus Station to Yulin in half past eight in the morning, you are to get there at 9 o’clock in the night. It costs you 128 Yuan. You can also catch bus from Yan’an Coach Station to Yulin, which takes about 5 hours.

Road:

No. 324 national highway cuts across Yuzhou District, Xingye County, Rong County and Beiliu City.

 1. There are six coach passenger stations in Yulin which are the coach terminal, passage transport center, western city passenger station, eastern suburb station, coach station near the railway station and the southern city coach station.

2. The highway system is quite developed in Yulin. There is only one-hour trip to Guigang via highway, two hours to Zhanjiang, three hours to Nanning, four hours to Liuzhou, five hours to Guangzhou and six hours to Shenzhen City.

City Public Transportation:

The public transportation network almost covers every corner of Yulin City with more than 130 bus sites. The main bus lines are as follows: No.6 (Fumian Line), No.7 (from industrial products market to vestibule school), No.8 (Fozi Mountain Line), No.9 (from railway station to Guiping Road crossing), No.10 (Long’an Line) and No.11 (from industrial products market to secondary vocational college).
