Yali Pear of Yangxin, Binzhou

Yali Pear has a beautiful shape of egg and a golden color. Since the lower part of its peduncle looks like the head of a duck, it is therefore called Yali Pear. Ya and li here in Chinese refer to “duck” and “pear” respectively. This kind of pears features thin skin, crisp flesh, lasting fragrance, and unique taste of sweet and sour.
