Heze used to be called Caozhou. Gengzhuang Village of Caozhou is famous for the production of Dried Permission for about 1000 years. In early Ming Dynasty, Dried Permission became popular and selected as an article of tribute. Dried Permission produced in Caozhou has a golden, transparent color.
