 Known as “Liaocheng Iron Cock” by Mr. Lao She, Wei’s smoked chicken was first originated by Wei Yongtai living in the North Gate in the fifteenth year of Jiaqing Era in the Qing Dynasty (1810 AD). It has a history of more than 180 years so far. Wei’s smoked chicken use choice materials and is cooked in care. It has pretty appearance, tender flesh, crisp bones, bright color and delicious taste. When eating the chicken, the fragrance is very special and lasts long. It goes well with wine or tea.
