Qufu Weather

Qufu has distinctive four seasons and is abundant in sunshine. July is the hottest month with the monthly average temperature of 27.4℃ and January is the coldest month with the monthly average temperature of 1.4℃. The weather of the period from June to September is very agreeable except a little bit rainy, which is the high tourism season of Qufu.

Best Time to go: the period from June to September is the best time to travel to Qufu when ten thousand Mu of lotus of Weishan Lake are in full bloom. Tourists not only can visit the most famous attractions of Qufu: “San Kong” (Confucius Temple, the Cemetery of Confucius and Kong Family’s Mansion), but also can appreciate beautiful flowers. Besides, Confucius Culture Festival is held every year from the late period of September to the early period of October at Confucius Temple of Qufu.
