It is the root of the red ginseng or red ginseng with white flowers which are both labiates. The red ginseng is herbage living for several years. The root is fatty and thick, the cortex is red. The caulis is grown with fluff. The odd number has more flowers, constituting false raceme, covered by gland hair and long fluff. Round umbrella inflorescence has 6 flowers or more, constituting false inflorescence, covered by gland hair and long fluff; the corolla is blue and purple or white (the red ginseng with white flowers)
