Now in Zaozhuang a land of over 24, 000 square meters has been developed for Jujube production. Each year about 350,000 kilograms of Jujube can be reaped. This kind of fruit has four characteristics. First, it is easy to plant and can grow ripe within the same year. Second, it is large in size with a bright luster. Third, the flesh is succulent, sweet, and white-green in color. Forth, it grows in late autumn and usually after Forest’s Descent (23rd, October).
