Riverside Promenade in Shanghai lies along the Huangpu River in Pudong New Area with a 2500 meters length. In the opposite of Riverside Promenade, it is the famous Bund of Shanghai. Based on the superior geographical position, Riverside Promenade has become one of the most popular places in Shanghai. It is the best place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Bund, the ships and the river. Especially, it is the absolutely right place to enjoy the night of the Bund.

Riverside Promenade is not only a scenic avenue with some entertainment spots, but also a great project to protect the city from a flood. Besides, there is a fountain square on the centre of the Riverside Promenade which offers a pleasant leisure environment.

A large number of restaurants, coffee houses and ice-cream shops locate on the road as well. Sometimes, there are some large-scale activities and tournaments on the Riverside Promenade which attracts numerous people. At night, Riverside Promenade combines with the flood-control dam, music fountains and the yacht marina which enjoy a reputation of “The New Bund in Pudong”.

The avenue is also a good place to look around the hot sites such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai International Convention Center, Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, the Jinmao Tower and Super Brand Mall.
