The Cook Lounge, Shanghai

The Cook Lounge is in Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. It is located in the heart of Pudong, opposite Century Park which is the largest eco-park in Shanghai. It is directly connected to the Shanghai New International Expo Center, and is accessible to the rest of the Metropolis via the underground metro within the complex. Pudong International Airport is 30 minutes away by car and 15 minutes away by Maglev train.

During the daytime, the Cook Lounge is a graceful and comfortable place to get relaxed. Customers can have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee here, together with some disserts, and enjoy the lazy and cozy time after noon. When the night falls, the Cook Lounge is filled with dynamic music or romantic melody. At this time, customers can have a taste of wine or colorful cocktails in the cellar or delicious food in the cheese room. Francois Petri, chef of the cake house, will cooperate with his team, and bake various kinds of cakes for you to eat when you drink tea or coffee.

The design of the Cook Lounge is from a design company in Brazil. The outline of the Cook Lounge is oval. Represented by wooden block, the oval hall is like a cocoon. There is also a Chinese-style tea house, where the collocation of Chinese art works and furniture in the style of Ming Dynasty (1368 A.D. – 1644.A.D.) shows the uniqueness of the design.
