The total length of it is 5 kilometers long, which is China’s first landscape boulevard. It’s as wide as 100 meters, including 31 meters wide 6 fast and 2 slow double-direction lanes and the 6 meters wide auxiliary roads on both sides. There are green separation belt between the main lanes and the auxiliary road. The boulevard is designed with features of dissymmetry, with 8 rest gardens on the north side of the pedestrian. 2 sculpture squares are set in the west Laoshao road and the intersection of Yanggao road. Besides, there are places for recreation and art gallery etc. Century Boulevard is a rare landscape in Shanghai .

Good
Buildings along the avenue are very distinctive. Good environment, wider than many roads, so it is not crowded. I prefer it in the evening when there is less traffic for a leisurely stroll.
