Longhua Temple, located in Longhua Town, Xuhui district, is the oldest and largest buddhist temple in Shanghai.  The temple buildings were built in a palace style. Apart from its long history, the allure of the temple also lies in the Longhua Pagoda and the peach blossoms in its courtyard. A hotel has built recently in the temple ground, which provide nice vegetarian dishes.
