Xupu Bridge

The bridge has a total length of 4020 meters, with the main bridge of 1072 meters. The bridge is 35.95 meters wide. It is a composite and steel cable-stayed bridge, with double pylon piers. The pylons are 217 meters high, A-shaped .It spans the river with a 590-meter-long main span and a 46-meter-width deck. The deck has eight two-way lanes. It is the fifth cable-stayed bridge crossing over Huangpu River. Xupu bridge is the place where connects Shanghai-Naijing Superhighway and Shanghai-Huanfzhou superhighway. It is convenient to go to the Hongqiao Airport and Putong International Airport via the Xupu bridge. Together with Yangpu bridge, Nanpu bridge, Fengpu bridge, Xupu bridge plays an important role in Putong's development and it also promote communications between Putong and Puxi.
