Glamour Bar is one of the more highbrow bars in Shanghai. Located just off the Bund it is part of the belt of bars that with the right prices tend to attract just the right crowds. The atmosphere of Glamour Bar is dimmed and relaxed, and through the high windows facing east you get a beautiful view of the high risers in Pudong. The drinks are expensive, yet priceworthy, and these is a large selection of wines. Glamour Bar offers both concerts and occational shows, as well as DJ:s playing everything from retro vinyl to house and soul. It also hosts the annual Shanghai Literary Festival in March. So if you are up for a night of intellectual fun, head down to Glamour Bar on the Bund.
