Chaozhou Embroidery, Shantou

Chaozhou embroidery is a group of Yue embroidery. It is famous for precise composition of the picture, changeable stitches and colorful patterns. The unique style includes gold thread and silk thread mix stitch, which is similar in shape of the embossment. There are several kinds of embroidery as single face embroidery, double-face embroidery, cross-stitch embroidery and floss embroidery. Chaozhou embroidery can be divided to three groups including costumes, decorations and daily items.
