Brief Introduction to the Scenic Spot:

Wave Obstructing Peninsula Seashore Tourist District and South Sea Kwan-yin Tourist District are built in the range of the tourist Zone. In bursting over the surface of the sea, the wave obstructing peninsula wards off the stormy waves from either east or west like a folding screen.  As a result, no mater what the wind direction is like on the two sides, the sceneries on the two sides are totally different. When the stormy waves gallop on one side, it is calm and peaceful on the other side, from which is the peninsula named.

How to get there:

Visitors can walk in the direction of the center city after they get out from the Shanwei passengers’ station, then turn left at the first crossing and wait there for the bus running between Shanwei City and the Red Sea Gulf. The buses running from 7 o’clock in the morning to 5 o’clock in the afternoon will arrive at every half an hour and it will take you about half an hour to an hour and cost you 6 yuan.
