Xinghua Village

Xinghua Village is famous for the Fen Wine. As early as the Southern and Northern Period which was dated from 1,500 years ago, Xinghua Village was famous for the wine making and the wine culture. In Tang Dynasty, Xinghua Village became the wine center in Shanxi. Many poets and scholars evaluated Xinghua Village highly, such as Libai, Dufu, Dumu, Song Yanqing, Gu Yanwu, Fushan, Bajin, Guo Moruo and so on. Li Zicheng had left his handwriting of 尽善尽美(means prefect) when he passed Xinghua Village. Because of this reason, Xinghua Village had ever changed its name as Jinshan Village.

Today’s Xinghua Village has become the headquarter of Fen Wine Group. It is the old capital of wine culture and a famous tourist spot. There are Wine Exhibition Hall, Wine History Museum in Xinghua Village. These exhibition hall and museum show the history of wine making in Xinghua Village and also the glamour of wine culture to people.    

Fen Wine Group is in Xinghua Village. The scenery is beautiful and wine is attractive. Famous wine of Fen Wine Group like Fen Wine, Zhuyeqing Wine, White Jade Fen Wine, Rose Fen Wine, Beitejia Wine have all been exported abroad and they are enjoying a great fame.  Fen Wine Group of Xinghua Village is in its peak of career now.

History of Xinghua Village:

Xinghua Village is situated in the Xibao Village of Xinghua Town, Fenyang. It was built in the Southern and Northern Period, which had been 1,500 years ago. Xinghua Village has become the headquarter of Fen Wine Group now. It is not only the old center of wine, but also a wine culture center in China. Lots of historical relics related to the wine culture are left. Like the Wine History Museum, Wine Exhibition Hall, Gujing Xian Pavilion, steles with scriptures of famous people, Xiangu Pond and so on. A very modern and attractive building in Xinghua Village is Jiudu Hotel. Because of the rich tourist resources, Xinghua Village is evaluated as one of the best 10 tourist spots of China.

1.Take the highway bus to Fenyang at the West Bus Station of Taiyuan. It takes about 1 hour to get to Xinghua Village if the bus went by the highway of Xiafen. 2.Take the highway bus to Fenyang at the West Bus Station of Taiyuan. It takes about 1.5 hour to get to Xinghua Village if the bus went by the No.307 national road. 3.Take cars at the National Defense Building, Yunshan Hotel or China Telecom Building, it takles about 1 hour to get to the Xinghua Village. These three building are all in front of the Railway Station of Taiyuan. 4.Buses to Xiaoyi, Lishi or Liulin from Taiyuan can get to Xinghua Village conveniently. 5.Take a bus from the ancient city of Pingyao to Fenyang, and then take a bus to Xinghua Village at Fenyang.
