Yuncheng was called as Lu in the ancient, so the salt produced here is also called as Lu Salt. It is also called as Xie Salt because the officer who in charge of salt affairs had resident in Xiezhou. People also call this salt as Granule Salt because this salt is very big granule-shaped. This kind of salt is very pure and white and rich in magnesium.
