Sanhua Plum, Shaoguan

Sanhua Plum is produced in Sanhua Village of Wengyuan County. Jima Plum and Mifeng Plum are the two most delicious kinds of Sanhua Plum, which grows ripe in the slack season of other fruit. Sanhua Plum is characterized by big size, mellow flesh, little stone, clear taste and fragrance. In 1987 Sanhua Plum was awarded the title of “one of the ten quality and rare fruit brands”. Now every year in late June there will be the “China Sanhua Plum Festival” in Wengyuan County.
