Shaoshan Transport
Shaoshan doesn’t have an airport. Thus, the nearby airport, Huanghua Airport in Shangsha is available for people in Shaoshan, which is one hundred kilometers from Shaoshan. Besides, Changsha Huanghua International Airport is only 90 kilometers from Shaoshan.
Two scheduled trains operate from Changsha to Shaoshan, departing from Changsha at 7:05 and 17:00 respectively, and arriving in Shaoshan at 9:35 and 20:00 respectively.
The highway system of Shaoshan extends in all directions. Generally, there are regular buses from Shaoshan to the main cities, such as Changsha , Zhangjiajie , Zhuzhou, Yiyang, Changde, Shaoyang, Hengyang and Xiangtan City. Buses from Shaoshan to Xiangtan operate from 5:00 with every 15 minutes every day, and buses to Changsha goes from 7:00 to 17:30 with an interval of 30 minutes. Besides, buses to Shaoshan with air-conditioners are also available in Changsha Southern Station, departing from 7:00 to 17:00 with an interval of 50 minutes.
