Shenyang Olympic Stadium

Shenyang Olympic Stadium, one of the four football venues in the co-host cities, is hosting 12 football preliminary matches during the Olympics 2008. The stadium has a land surface of 150,000 square meters and the sporting complex has the seat capacity of 60,000 people, including a 10,000-seat gymnasium, a 4,000-seat swimming pool complex and a 4,000-seat tennis field. The multipurpose venue is the most modern and visually stunning sports stadium in Shenyang's history. The stadium, which has been dubbed 'Crystal Crown', gives panoramic visual view at night.
