As a specialty of Ningxia, the sheepskin fur is named for being produced at bottomland (the Chinese word of which is pronounced as “Tandi”), informally called Er’ maopi (The second fur). With two inches long, glossy, soft and warm wool, white fringe, fine texture, the fur was called Qianjin (a thousand jin gold, lots of money)Fur in the ancient times and now is traditional name-brand goods for export in China.
