Tongjang tremella is the famous special product of China. It is rich in various amino and traces elements which are needed by human body. Besides, it also has high medical and edible value. The climate is temperate and moist in Tongjiang, so that it is suitable for the growth of various edible fungi. Tongjiang is the source of tremella and has more than 150 years history of planting tremella. Therefore, it is famed as “the hometown of tremella in China”.
