New Year Cultural Festival in Happy Valley, Chengdu

During the spring festival, Chengdu Happy Valley Theme Park provides tourists with a great festival feast from February 14th to 20th, including a happy cruise, the competition of New Year customs of all the countries in the world, the exhibition of traditional Chinese art work, performances of minorities and other attractive activities. Chengdu New Year Culture Festival assembles New Year customs of Chinese, Japan, Korea, American and European counties, giving people a taste of the prosperous New Year customs of different countries.

For example, during the 2010 New Year Cultural Festival in Happy Valley, there are a great variety of unique performances, including the traditional Chinese superb skills, the exhibition of clothes and ornaments of Northern European countries, the fancy way of paying a New Year call of Switzerland, the elegant performance of the royal honor guard and other unique European performances, showing the amorous European culture. Besides, the auspicious drums of Korea and the Buddha of Thailand can give tourists a firsthand experience of exotic culture and customs.
