With over 100 scenic spots covering an area of 120 square kilometers, the provincial Batai mountain scenic and historic interest area is made up of four: Batai Mountain, Dragon-Pond River, Baicang Hall and Tuo Mountain. The altitude of the main peak of Batai Mountain is 2273meters and so the tourists can reach the top of it and enjoy the sights of sun-rising, the sea of clouds, Buddhist halo and etc. The Dragon-Pond river is full of shoals and riffles at the foot of Batai Mountain,while it runs smoothly with red peach blossoms and green willows on the river banks, which form a picturesque rural scenery with paths crisscrossing in the fields.
