Five-Peak Mountain Forest Park is also called Bamboo Forest Park owing to a vast bamboo area with a large variety of bamboo trees. There are more than 100 kinds of bamboo craftworks of various levels, which are popular with people. There are rare and endangered plants: nanmu, red sandal-wood, cherry bays and camphor trees. Rare birds and animals are also found here: hedgehogs, golden pheasants, bamboo portridges, goats, ringed-necked pheasants and hares, which inhabit and breed in the park. Natural stone forests with numerous limestone caves, well-known huge pine trees of Ming Dynasty, the legendary seven-sister and wallet trees are also worthy seeing in the park.
