With clear and bright lakes, curtain-like waterfalls, lush forest, primitive tibetan villages, Jiuzhaigou features all the elements of the shangri-la found by the secluded chinese monk over thousands of years ago. However, the approaches of tourist throngs have changed much of it and reshaped the place by adding many tourist facilties to provide comfort to travelers. Many travelers are disappointed at these changes. After all, people come to the park to see nature in its pristine state.

The Park itself is wonderful, and could easily spend two days here, as one day only means some careful picking of which walks to do, and forces you to rush it. Absolutely worthwhile to visit.
