The White Pagoda is a thirteen-storey, pavilion-like, multi-eave brick pagoda of 39.5 meters in height. The front of the first storey has a door, and a winding staircase inside the pagoda leads to the top. Inside the pagoda, there are 93 niches for a Buddhist statue from the first storey to the tenth. The pedestal is square, and the first storey is higher than the others. Under the pagoda’s thirteen brick pent roofs are small false windows and holes for letting in air and light. The whole structure is elegant, making it an important representative of multi-eave pagodas of Song Dynasty.
