The Ginger Cake, originated from the year under the reign of Emperor Tongzhi, Qing Dynasty with its making by medical foods which can heal disease, was entitled as "a royal cake" by the Queen Cixi for its health and harmlessness. It is commented as tasty oil not greedy, sweet not excessive, as pure as jades, as soft as clouds.
