General Information of Yibin
Located at the junction of the Minjiang River and Yangtze River, Yibin, a prefecture-level city in southern Sichuan Province, covers an area of 13,282 square kilometers and has amazing natural landscapes and fantastic historical interests. Yibin consists of one district and nine counties (Chuiping, Yibin, Nanxi, Jiang'an, Changning, Gao, Junlian, Xingwen, Pingshan and Gong) and has a population of over 500,000,000 people. The city's industries focus on electronics, food products, and the power generation. There are also industries of paper, silk, and leather. The surrounding region is rich in agricultural resources, growing rice, barley, oil seeds, sesame, and tea.
