Shibei Dinosaurs

The dinosaur fossils were found in Gongxian County of Yibin by a local geological team accidentally. The fossils found in Sichuan Province before are middle or late Lower Jurassic, while the ones in Gongxian County belong to early Lower Jurassic with 100 million years history, which comprises the complete Lower Jurassic. The Shipai Dinosaur is a new specie that can date back above 27 million years early than the dinosaur fauna in Zigong. The dinosaur fossils of early Lower Jurassic are very rare, especially for such wonderful and well-kept ones, that’s why they are so valuable.
