Universal Studios Singapore is one of the most important projects in Resort World Sentosa, on which $4.32 billion US dollars was spent. It was officially opened on March 18th, 2010, becoming the first and the only Universal Studios theme park in Southeast Asia. There are 24 recreational facilities and scenic spots in Universal Studios Singapore, 18 of which were specially designed and custom remade for Singapore.

Universal Studios Singapore is situated in Resort World Sentosa where most of the amount of capital is invested. Resort World Sentosa, which has a record number of recreational facilities and scenic spots, is one of the best destinations for family travel in the country. The theme park’s 24 rollercoasters and scenic spots, which include a 42.5-meter high double-track jet coaster based on the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica, and a Water World Theater with 3500 seats which is more than any other theater in the world, feature world-class pioneering engineering and masterwork. The 18 scenic spots that have been specially designed for Singapore thus cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.

Each scenic spot has its own unique element. The highest double-track jet coaster is the most creative: one person is seated while the other is hung, who then pass each other high in the sky, rubbing against each other. Abrupt twists, unexpected rapid falls, and other stunning designs make this double-track jet coaster the most breathtaking and exciting one in the world. Also in Universal Studios Singapore, visitors can see dinosaurs, lemurs, some cute monsters, Egyptian mummies, and much more, all of which add to great thrills and excitement.

As well, there are 7 themed sections within Universal Studios Singapore, including Ancient Egypt, the Lost World, Hollywood, and so on. Each minipark recreates the magic of the world of movies and creates an adventurous journey. As in various movie plots, guests can fight against bullies, chase famous celebrities, and move from one screen to another before getting totally lost in the brilliant light of the Avenue of Stars. Visitors will love the unique entertainment experience and be greatly amazed.
