Ceramic, Tangshan

Tangshan has the fame of “The Cradle of Chinese Modern Industry”. Both the first sanitary ceramic product and the first bone china work came into being here. The ceramic history of Tangshan can date back to the ruling period of Emperor of Ming Dynasty. The ceramics of Tangshan have multiple uses, exquisite techniques, and beautiful appearances. The main products include daily necessities (tea set, wine utensils, plates, bowls, and others), building products, arts products, ceramic sculptures, ceramic tile murals, and others. Tnagshan Mountain is renowned as one of “Three Famous Mountains in Ceramic Production Areas”, together with Buddha Mountain of Guangdong Province and Boshan Mountain of Shandong Province.
