Tengchong Weather
Tengchong has a tropical monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 14.9℃, the highest temperature is 30.5℃ and the lowest is -4.2℃. Tengchong has cool summer,,warm winter, clear water and green mountains, which make Tengchong an ideal tourist attraction for tourists. There are six ethnic minority groups in this area, including Dai, Hui, Lisu, Wa, Bai and A’chang. The ethnic customs and cultures always amaze the tourists. For example, the sword-ladder climbing and fir-passing show of the Lisu ethnic minority group during their Sword-Ladder Festival make people acclaim them as the acme of perfection.
