Last updated by lala at 2015/11/7

Bophut Beach is located on the northern coast of Samui Island. Though it is only 2 kilometers long, the scenery is stunning with clear water and white sands. It was originally a fishing village in the past and now it is the oldest settlement on the island. Bophut Beach is the perfect spot for enjoying the sunset. Tourists can enjoy delicious food and watch the beautiful sunset at a seashore restaurant. Going westward from Bophut Beach, there is a village named Mae Nam, which is rarely visited. At the end of the village, there is a small bay formed by rows of giant rocks. It is an ideal place for snorkeling and it’s a perfect place to enjoy peace because there are very few tourists.
