Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Samui Island is the third largest island in Thailand. Covering an area of 247 square meters and lying about 80 kilometers offshore, Samui Island is surrounded by 80 islands and islets, most of which are not inhabited by residents. The island measures 21 kilometers at its widest point, and 5 kilometers at its narrowest point. The clean and white beaches there are the ideal tropical paradise for tourists. It is only 84 kilometers away from the town of Surat Thani.

Ang Thong Marine National Park is a dreamlike island in the movie, abounding with numerous limestone caves, coral reefs, and bright-colored tropical fish. About 20 years ago, it was still isolated from the bustling outside world. Because it was discovered and developed not long ago, tourists will enjoy the primitive and unsophisticated atmosphere.

Samui Island is very charming and attractive with numerous beaches, clear water and white sands. Crescent-shaped Chaweng Beach stretches for 6 kilometers long. Besides the charming scenery, the beach boasts lots of hotels and the most comprehensive recreation facilities. Lamai Beach which is south of Chaweng Beach also provides various recreation facilities. Tourists can go snorkeling, diving, canoeing, sailing on the sea and enjoy the stunning natural beauty with your beloved. Besides, some other sites that worth your visiting on Samui Island are Ang Thong Marine National Park, Koh Phangan Island, Koh Tao Island and Koh Nang Yuan Island. It is very romantic and exciting.
