Yangcun Small World Amusement Park is found in the county of Wuqing. This park is a popular tourist destination in Tianjin and is renowned for its peaceful country atmosphere. History of the park
The plan to build a reproduction of the world’s most famous attraction sites in Tianjin was proposed in 1988 by Mr. Yang Shihua and the chairman of the Soong Ling Foundation. Foreign embassies such as the United States, Canada, Australia, England and many others welcomed this idea and agreed to patronize the park. Construction of this ambitious project began towards the end of 1988 and took roughly six years to complete. Yangcun Small World Amusement Park officially opened its doors to the public in November 1992 and by mid-1993 it had received hundreds of thousands of tourists.
What to see and do in Yangcun Small World?
Although Yangcun Small World Park only occupies an area of 480 acres, this space has been economically utilized as all the sites and scenic attractions are evenly distributed and well organized. Upon entrance to the park you can’t help but marvel at the world’s natural marvels. Here you will find a reproduction of the world’s highest mountain, Everest, along with other famous mountains such as Mount Fuji of Japan, and Mount Rushmore of the US. Water takes a huge chunk of space since all the oceans from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean have been reconstructed.
There are plenty of activities that tourists can engage in at the water section. One can explore the various fish species of the oceans and also go on an expedition round the world to have a feel of Columbus’ journey. The East and West gardens present an opportunity to go back in time as they are rich in ancient ruins and architecture. The majority of the ruins of ancient civilizations such as the pyramids of Egypt, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Mies Ear Ah Goddess of Taiwan and the Great Wall of China are all located here.

Magnificent architecture such as that of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre has been recreated in the park.
