Highways

Tongling has very convenient transportation. The freeway from Hefei to Tongling has been opened to traffic in 2005 with the total distance of about 500kms. The freeway from Wuhu to Tongling will be run in the whole city in 2007. At the same time, the   Huangshan to Tongling freeway that is under construction will be accomplished in 2007, too. From Tongling , you can directly reach cities like Hefei and Shanghai .

12 bus lines and two special lines, i.e. No.310,312 have been opened to traffic in Tongling, which can fulfill the basic transportation needs of the city. The earliest running time is 5:40 and the latest is 22:30.
