Vietnam Military History Museum

Vietnam Military History Museum was set up on December, 22nd, 1959. It is right next to the bronze statue of Lenin. Six hundred meters east of Lang Chu Tich Ho Chi Minh, it is one of the six national-level museums in the central part of the capital city Hanoi. Besides, Hanoi Flag Tower, a famous ancient building, is situated there. The Hanoi Flag Tower began to be built in 1805 and was finally completed in 1812. The boundary line is 180 meters long. The tower is 31 meters tall. Hanoi Flag Tower was listed as National Cultural Heritage. Vietnam Military History Museum is a vivid historical record that has recorded the stories of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh lead different ethnic groups of Vietnam to fight against the invasion of other countries. Through the items on display there, tourists can know more about the fight of Vietnam people and armed force for peace, for independence and freedom. Every tourist will be satisfied about their visit in Vietnam Military History Museum.
