Vietnam is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer. Thus Vietnam enjoys a tropical monsoon climate with an annual average temperature of 24℃ and the annual average precipitation ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 mm. In the northern part of Vietnam, there are four seasons a year, namely spring, summer, autumn and winter. In the southern part of Vietnam, there are only two seasons a year, including the dry season and the rainy season. In general, the rainy season lasts from May to October and the dry season lasts from November to April of the following year. In the dry season, it is sunny and clear nearly every day. Tourists coming to visit Vietnam at that time can enjoy green mountains, pellucid water and blossoming flowers. The dry season is the best time for tourists to visit Vietnam because this is the most beautiful period of Vietnam.
