Background of Mulan

The story about Hua Mulan has been handed down for more than one thousand years. It's well-known in China. Wars produce heroes. If there is no male hero, heroin will emerge.

Besides Hua Mulan's old parents, there was her young brother in her family. Her senile father couldn't go to the front to fight the enemy, but it was incumbent on all people to fight for their country. Facing the double test, Mulan decided to go to the front in place of her father. It's an agglomeration of her love to her father and her loyalty to her motherland. It showed this heroin's color. In the morning, she said good bye to her parents. She spent nights at the bank of the Yellow River. How hurriedly the army march. How tense the war situation. When an order is made, the army must carry out it. As a young woman, Mulan left her family and threw herself into another world. In the dusk, a woman solder lay on her arm and waited for dawn. What a desolate and deplorable situation.

After the war finished, Mulan returned home. It isn't easy fro her. She knew that life was valuable. She knew more about the warmth of a family. She refused the honors and gifts bestowed by the empire. She was unwilling to be in office. She gave up high position and great wealth unhesitatingly. She expected to go back to her hometown soon.

How hard it's for her to risk her life to fight on the battlefield for twelve years. How difficult it's for her to disguise herself as a man without leaving a trace. However, everything was over. We can imagine how great the force of Hua Mulan's inner spirit should be. The situation has settled down. When her former fighting comrades came to visit her again, she was always dressed in skirts to receive them. Her companions felt very surprised at the sight of her. Hua Mulan spoke to herself, “Do you know that the person who fought against enemy with you and didn't want to be an official after the war finished is a girl?” How proud Hua Mulan was when she returned to be a girl.
