The climate in Wuhan belongs to subtropical humid monsoon type. It has absolutely distinct seasons, hot in summer and cold in winter. There are sufficient rainfall and sunshine. In recent thirty years, the average annual rainfall is 1269 millimeters, mainly in June to August. The annual average temperature is 15.8℃-17.5℃. Summer is the longest season there, lasting about 130 days. The spring and autumn last about 60 days respectively. The best time for visiting Wuhan is from March to June and from September to November.
